About
I have given over 30,000 in person guitar lessons to over 2,000 different students since 1989. I also developed guitarlessononline.com in 2000, one of the first websites to offer streaming video guitar lessons.
Graduated with honors from Musicians Institute in 1989, have been playing and teaching full time ever since!
I love music, and I love teaching music to students who are eager to learn. It is always great to hear a student learn to play something well, or to see them understand something they could not get before.

Lou has been in music his entire life and it shows. He has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and skill. Maybe more importantly, kindness and patience. After trying on my own for 5 years and getting nowhere, I hired Lou. After 1-2 years Im playing Tom Petty, Van Morrison, The Beatles, Lenny Kravitz, and many more. Not to mention practicing the basics and theory. Stop your search now and give Lou a shot!

Lou is a great teacher whose focus is helping students become better musicians. He bases each lesson on the questions, needs or interests I have at the time. We work on the styles and songs I am interested in. He always recognizes whats holding me back, helps me see it, and gives me the tools I need to work through to the next level.
