About
While in Southern California, I taught 30 piano students (all levels). Prior to living in Southern California, I taught private piano within Indianapolis, as well as directing an ensemble at University of Indianapolis, in addition to a summer class at Butler University. Now that I am back in Indiana, I am rebuilding a studio, and will welcome students of all levels. This site is posting me as being within Westfield, which is incorrect. The zip code is 46062/Noblesville.
Outside of the piano world, I am known for my direction of ensembles and festivals within the Handbell World. I also recorded demo recordings for several publishers, including Warner Bros. Publishing. In addition to all, I was also the Handbell Music Editor of Lorenz Publishing Company.
During "spare time," I am a member of the Indiana Wind Symphony, playing bass clarinet, as well as serving within the IWS Board of Directors.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For the first lesson, I learn if the student has had previous experience/music education, and the level where they currently are. For those who have not, very simple instruction is given in order to choose which route to go, as far as method books/repertoire.
