I am a life coach, elementary art teacher, and special education teacher. Art is to be enjoyed. I help people express themselves in their own unique and perfect way. I wrote a book called Promising Connections and Creative Discoveries about using art to move through big life transitions. I have been painting my whole life. I paint with artists at the art colony at Fountain Park Chautauqua. I lived at Schmidt Artist Lofts in Saint Paul. I have worked with many different students and along side many artists.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will ask them what they want to make. If we are meeting over the web I will send them a supply list. If I meet them in person I can include supplies in the cost or the can purchase supplies beforehand. I like to help people make art that has meaning for them. I try to help people find images and symbols that represent what they want to express.
