I have 10 years of teaching and performing experience along with a B.A. in Music Performance. My goal is to make learning fun and enjoyable, in a way that fits in with your busy schedule!

How did you get started teaching?
Most musical endeavors I've encountered have always involved teaching in one way or another. Ever since I first picked up a guitar at 13, I've been sharing what I know with other musicians and helping to organize small ensembles and bands for performing.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students of all ages and abilities. I teach students as young as 5, and as old as 95. I work with complete music newbies as well as seasoned professionals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for someone who is willing to teach you what you want to learn right from the get go!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Am I willing to dedicate 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week, for one month, to learning a new skill set?
