I started working with Ragen when I was 11 and only had experience in the 2nd hunters. With Ragens attention to detail and focus on proper flatwork I moved up through the levels with confidence and a solid foundation. Not only did she teach me riding skills and methods but always quality horsemanship and the proper ways to care for the horse in and out of the tack. Working with Ragen is always a pleasure and I always learn something new!

I am very new to the equestrian world. I was quite nervous starting lessons in general. But, from the moment I walked Into the ring for our lesson I was instantly at ease. She was patient, and kind and made it easy to understand what she wanted out of me and in turn for my horse. I never get like she was asking me to do things that I was too much for me yet, she offered positive encouragement and gradual progressions to really advance my riding. I feel very safe and happy when I work with Ragen. I really look forward to continue learning and riding with her!

Ragen is an extremely kind, patient, and a welcoming trainer. She wants to see you excel and really cares about all of her lesson students. Safety is a main priority for Ragen. She has done an amazing job both training my horse as well as myself. We wouldn’t be where we are now without her!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
4th generation in my family business. Have been riding and competing for 23 years and teaching and training for 10 years.
