I am a 31 year old part time golf instructor living in Minnetonka, MN. I work in finance full-time and teach golf part-time. This allows me to offer much more affordable rates than full time instructors.

Since I was about 10 years old, I have been obsessed with golf. On a regular basis, I am studying swings of the best players in the world, absorbing content from top intructors on instagram, and reading the lastest research on biomechanics, ground force reactions, etc.

The golf swing is largely cause and effect. While it is easy to identify a problem in the swing, you often need to go back 2 - 3 steps in the swing to find what you need to work on. During our first session together, we will identify the root cause of your problems and work through solutions for your swing in a relaxed, focused, and enjoyable environement. Students will experience both immediate and lasting improvement. I instruct beginners, intermediate, and advanced level. My favorite students to teach are players in the 5 - 15 handicap range, as a small tweak in technique can often result in huge improvement.

Growing up, I received lessons from several instructors who taught me the wrong things to work on and set me down the wrong path. I became a 2 handicap by my senior year of high school, but that wasn't good enough to fulfill my dream of playing D1 golf. Through the information I've learned and taught myself during the last 10 years, I am now a +2 handicap and compete with many current and former D1 golfers in Minnesota state amateur events.

I wish I had received better instructrion growing up, which is why I am so passionate about making my students improve. I have put in the work to understand the golf swing and I know how to make you better. Don't go to somebody else who might set you down the wrong path!
