About
I lived in Spain for a year while in college as an immersion student. I returned fluent, but before that, it had already studied it for 7 years, (both in high school & college). I've worked in the Boston medical community in demanding positions to help the Latino population. I have taught to HS students in the Boston area as well.
To pass on my skill, and giving people the ability to communicate correctly and with confidence in Spanish.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess their needs by asking what the goals are, and finding out the level of each student is.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My fee is $40 per hour. The cancellation fee will be $10 if it's done an hour or less before the lesson was to begin.
How did you get started teaching?
By attending graduate school and receiving my Teacher's Certification, as well by having taught and worked professionally in the Boston medical area.
What types of students have you worked with?
Both high school students and adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
That no matter what dialect, region, or country that the person is from, I can converse with anyone in Spanish. Native speakers are amazed and quite impressed when a "gringo" is able to maintain a conversation, and not have to tell them to "slow down!"
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice is to consider how much time and effort they want to devote to learn Spanish; no matter what the intended goal/s are.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What level do I want to reach as I learn Spanish?
Why am I learning Spanish? Is it for job purposes?
