About
I allow my students to explore and drive their lessons. Small groups and individuals get a tailored approach that fosters communication and problem solving skills. I make sure to review the "why's" every lesson, not just the "how's" My philosophy encourages students to enjoy their time with the horse in a low pressure environment, where they are able to guide their own learning. I provide instruction for children from leadline through advanced lessons, as well as accommodating adults beginners through advanced. Special programs are available for both juniors and adults who are interested in distance riding.
I find deep satisfaction from helping foster my student's love for horses. By allowing enough space within the lesson for exploration, I find that even my most shy students make great strides lesson after lesson.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
During the first lesson I will evaluate the student and ask a series of questions to help them develop a specific goal to acheive within a set time frame. From that information I will develop an individualized learning plan to help the student towards their goal! Group lessons will combine the goals of each student. Students will be exposed to new skills that encourage them to group and move out of their comfort zones in a safe environment.
