I've always had a passion for teaching. It is something that I consider to be extremely important and fulfilling because I am passing knowledge onto other people while feeling happy about it.
I will help students reach their goals by being thorough and patient in my explanations and being consistent with my teaching methods. When it comes to teaching a language, I believe the best way to do that is to not switch to the student's native language so that they constantly listen to the language I am teaching and that way thoroughly learn it while having fun.
I have been doing this for two years now at Fitchburg State University, where I have been helping freshmen and sophomores with courses like Precalculus and Spanish.
I made my five students get the following GPAs: two 3.5 and three 4.0.

To see the progress in other people as they improve their new foreign language skills and use them communicate with others properly. Passing on my knowlegde onto others is a beautiful way of spending my time, because I get to see others enjoy it and use it to their benefit

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The student and I go through all the questions they might have together, and then I help them find the answer by asking them questions and making them think about the answer. With a new student, I always make sure that they know they can ask anything they need to know
