For rifle and hangun I teach in my home and shoot there as well. Students are not exposed to the noise and stress of dealing with crowds at a range. Lessons can be individual or groups up to 5. I teach the NRA based handgun course.
For shotgun instruction, I am established at Loch Raven Skeet and Trap which is a very good facility with history of sponsoring major competitive shoots. Several members are nationally ranked. I have had lessons with 4 national champions and 4 master instructors. I have taught hundreds of shooters to shoot shotguns including many youth and women.
Recently announced is 2015 accident data which shows that firearms accidents went down significantly that year while firearms sales were hitting all time high levels. That means people are getting training in safety. I am at the grass roots level of that activity.
Shooting is fun! Shooting safely and well is more fun! I really enjoy helping people acheive that.
I deeply believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Bringing people into that realization of their importance and the individuals role in maintaining them is basic to citizenship. Our rights require our responsibility.
