About

I believe music is more than entertainment, it benifits us mentally and helps us in tough situations. Some people believe that music is only a past time or a hobby but I see it as more of a way of life. I want to teach your child not just how to sing but how to love music more! As long as my students love to sing or have a curisosity for expanding their musical knowledge, then these lessons will benifit them even after they move on from me. I will teach your child not only how to sing in various styles of music but how to perform what while singing. If they don't have any or much musical experience that is perfectly okay. I will also teach any client how to read music as well as ear-training for pitch purposes if needed.

I love to see people get excited about music, I believe that music is more than just entertainment it's how some people choose to express themselves. I decided to become a teacher so that I can help people reach their full potential within music like my past teachers helped me.

She was totally professional, understanding, and caring about the overall development of my son. She made the lesson very enjoyable for him. I would absolutely recommend her as a vocal teacher!!!

    Frequently asked questions

I am a relational person, and I like to make a true connection that lasts. Therefore, I would like to have a virtual meeting before we start lessons to go over how you and your child would like to proceed with lessons. Each student is unique and so should their lesson curriculum.

I have had many years of vocal training spanning from middle school to my current years at College. I have studied music as a concentration/magnet in both middle school and high school. And I also gradauted St. Mary's College of Maryland with a Bachelor's of Arts in Music.

    I teach students ages 10 - 17.

For students NOT in the state of Maryland I only accept payment through the virtual apps cash-app, paypall, & zelle.

Overall lesson cost - $60 an hour or $240 a month for students ages 13-17 ( $50 for 40 min or $150 a month for students ages 13 and under)

Sheet music pricing - an extra $15 for sheet music orders for the year.

Traveling to lessons - an extra $20 per travel week. (this varies depending on the weeks you would like for me to travel to you.)

I knew I wanted to be a teacher ever since middle school. I recieved my first "teaching job" at a summer camp when I was 16 years old teaching music as a camp counselor. Over the past four years in college I have had fieldplacements related to my education courses, that allowed me to go into classes and work with teachers and students as well.

I have worked with elementary school students as well as middle and highschool students.

I recently had my Senior Recital which is madetory for all graduating music major student, and it was so nice to be able to share all my hard work with family and friends. I worked on my recital for almost a year and it included a lot of research, vocal practice, and preparation.

Go with someone you feel comfortable with. Just because someone is a grate performer they might not be the right fit for you. Some teachers cater to your craft and technique while others will care about you and your technique. Make sure that you ask all the questions you need to inorder to feel sure in your descision, remember they are supposed to work with you not just for you!

Here are some questions you might want to ask even if they're not for me:

-Given the genre I told you I would like to sing, how will you shape my private lesson curriculum from another student's.

-Do you give the same repetiore to students based on their voice part, or will I have a say in song selections?

-Will I be singing only in english or will other languages be intergrated over time?

    - I don't know how to read music, will this effect the timeline if my voice lessons?
