Hi my name is Master Tommy Lee. I have been teaching Martial Arts in the Edgewater and Annapolis area for over 26 years.
I own a martial arts studio that has amazing instructors that love to teach. We have a great group of students in a studio that is safe, clean and has a family atmosphere.
For those that are looking for self defense, I pride myself on not only identifying the specific needs of each student, but being able to transfer my knowledge to best fit the learning style of the student.
I enjoy instilling confidence and self esteem in the students I am priviledged to work with. Watching their eye's light up when they learn something new, useful and empowering is a great gift. I love what I do and enjoy working with people that have a sincere goal to learn.
My satisfaction comes when I first ee the light bulb go off in the students mind and secondly when they are able to transfer that skill physically. Once that happens, we can start building self confidence and the ability to really protect themselves and the people they care about.
I have many references and certifications I am happy to share with prospective students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1) Set a time to speak to a prospective new student to find out the benefits they are looking for in either Martial Arts Program or Private Lesson Training.
2) Physically meet with each person to make sure that the location, style we teach and the manner we go about teaching matches with what the student is looking for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our studio as well as myself has many certifications as well as national honors. There are too many to list, but I am happy to share them with anyone wishing to see them. Many of them are posted in the studio. Our credentials are open for everyone and anyone to see.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We have different pricing structures from Group Classes to Individual Private Lessons. Your pricing will depend on what your looking to do, how many classes per week and wheather they are group or private lessons.
