About
I teach students in the comfort of their own home or within my own. I travel to students to provide a convenient yoga practice that allows them to cultivate a calm space within themselves and their home.
What I most enjoy about teaching yoga is seeing students fully relax into a pose and allow themselves to just let go and be present in the moment.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet with the student before class, learn about any injuries, health conditions or any other concerns the students might have about class. Thoughout class I check in with them to make sure they feel comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been instructing yoga for almost 5 years and am RYT 200 certified through Yoga Alliance. My students comfort and safety are very important to me and I carry that into my class by checking in with students through out class.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Currently I charge $10/hour class per person. I also have class packages available: 5 classes for $45 or 10 classes for $90.
Private lessons are $30/hour for one student but I am willing to work on a monthly or weekly class package for private classes.
How did you get started teaching?
I started practicing yoga 9 years ago and my mom asked me to show her how to do yoga. So I just a few sun salutations with her and she told her friends about it and they asked me to teach them and it just took off from there.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked will many types of students, from 5 years old to 80 years old and everything in between. Many of my students fall between the ages of 25-50 years of age with all different body types, athletic ability and flexibility.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I currently held a Slow Vinyasa Flow class at Katie's Spa in Lapeer. The space class was held in is beautiful and the students all enjoyed the class, even Lisa Madden, the owner of In2Yoga, and one of my mentors.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
No matter what you are looking for just talk to the instructor you are interested in. They should be able to meet whatever needs you have for class and be willing and happy to help you.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about why you want to practice yoga, what are you hoping to gain through class? Being able to talk to your teacher about that is very important and will really set you up for a great experience with yoga
