Actor Training
About
I have the advantage of having worked professinally in the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. I enjoy what I do and believe that, as both an actor and a director, I can relate to struggles which actors go through and, in fact, consider myself an 'actor's director'. I think I have a lot of wisdom to impart and believe that anyone can learn from how I work with people.
I have worked with some truly incredible and professional actors/directors and pass along what I learned from them as I have applied their teachings into my own theatrical regimen. I truly enjoy watching someone I have taught have success on stage. It not only validates their desire to learn, but also my decision to teach.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we take a moment to discuss what you are trying to accomplish, what is the endgame. Are you taking acting lessons to become a better speaker, a better speaker, or do you have some other goal in mind? And then we sort out the best possible methods to get you where you want to be. Probably through monologue work to begin with but there are any number of avenues we can travel to begin your theatrical journey.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in theatre from Santa Clara University and have worked with some of the finest actors and directors I could ever hope to during my career: James Houghton (Signature Theatre in NY), Ron Lagomarsino (theatre and television director), John Reich (Director of Salzburg's Everyman Festival, and many more) I have taught private lessons while living in California and am currently directing and acting in Toledo, OH.
