Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, we will discuss your goals, then we'll identify which area of your game you need to improve the most to reach those goals, and finally we'll come up with a clear game plan for how you're going to get there. My areas of expertise include swings mechanics, how to get the most out of your practice, course management skills, a winning mental approach, on-course decision making, stats, and more.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout my collegiate and professional golf career, I have spent thousands of hours studying the best players on both the PGA and LPGA Tour. I have played and trained with many amazing players and coaches. I have learned from PGA Tour champion Max Homa, PGA Tour instructor Chris O'Connell, PGA Tour fitness trainer Lance Gill, PGA Hall of Famer Mike Small, and more.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels of golfers, from beginners to professionals.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I believe it's important to look for a coach that remains a student of the game, no matter how long they have been teaching. If you work with a coach that has a passion to improve themselves, it will be an energizing person to be around. Also, I believe it's important to look for a coach that has already done what you are hoping to accomplish because they know what it takes to do it.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Going into the lesson, you should know exactly what you are trying to improve upon. Is it a particular shot you want to eliminate? Is it a certain area of your game that is poor? Is it your mental approach? Identifying exactly what is giving you troubles will make it easier for the coach to help you.
