When it comes to drawing, I have students focus on the key techniques to develop a better control of line and practice sets that should also in turn create a mastery of rendering light source highlights, midtones and shadows.
Photography and drawing have a lot in common including establishing a good picture plane, subject selection, cropping and varyiing position to subject to create unusual and often striking images of light.
I enjoy planning for the viewer; creating a piece that they will want to invesigate further and enjoy.

Finding out what their goals are and reviewing of current creative work to properly evlauate what is needed to bridge any skill gaps.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachleor of Fine Arts in Design and a Masters in Education; Started and ran my own creative company for 10 years and have been teaching graphic communication, advertising and marketing at both the college and high school levels for 20+ years.
