About
I am an amatuer competitive boxer skilled in the sweet science of boxing. I want to teach others the fundamentals of boxing and help them achieve the conditioning boxers much reach to obtain success in their field.
I've been boxing competitively for over 3 years now. I have gained knowledge from working alongside pros and training under trainers that have produced champions from the golden glove level to world champions.
Whether you also want to compete, or you have fitness/mindset goals that could be reached through the sport of boxing, I am here to help you get there.
I enjoy helping people get out of their comofort zone and sharing a passion of mine with others. Physical and mental fitness are also important to me and I look forward to helping people improve theirs through the sweet science of boxing.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to interview a trainee on their experience, goals, what they want out of training and what they know about boxing. I also like to know their interest of the sport as a whole.
Fundamentals are important. I'll break down the how, the why, and the muscles we use. I am able to detect deficiencies in balance, agility, movement so we can both work comfortably at improving these in order to improve overall boxing skill.
I also like to emphasize the importance of stretching and warming up muscles, though these activities do not need to be included in the lessons.
We'll be working in different ways including on the heavy bag, doing mitt work, shadow boxing, and various weight training or cardio excercises depending on the focus. Depending on how in depth you feel comfortable with, I provide complete structures and routines for our time together and in between.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been an amateur competitive boxer for 3 years now.
I give lessons out in the Rochester Hills area, providing boxing focused training for a youth competitor and several fitness oriented clients.
Aside from that, I train daily to compete and win in the ring.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$60 per hour. If you buy five hours, the sixth is free!
Very open to negotiation!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching by training a friend for the sake of improving physical health. Then I started conditioning classes for a little league baseball team to improve their cardio, speed, strength, and overall health.
Currently, I help new students at my current boxing gym I train at to compete.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with beginner boxing competitors, people new to fitness altogether, athletes looking to improve areas in other sports, and all kinds of fans of boxing who want to try it out for themselves.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Celebrating New Years Eve in Downtown Detroit! But if it's related to boxing, then the Logan Paul and Jake Paul fights because it brought boxing to a mainstream stage for everyone to enjoy and absorb themselves into!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who is accessible and coordinates well with your style of boxing, movement. Confidence is key, know when you know your body best.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you have boxing gloves? These are required. I also suggest 180' hand wraps.
