About
I teach based upon the individual needs of each student.
I've taught music since I was 15 years old at various music stores throughout the years and I'm 53 now.
I have 38 years of music performance experience to draw from.
I have my Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance on String Bass in Jazz from Saginaw Valley State University.
I am currently earning my Masters of Music Performance on String Bass from Wayne State University.
I enjoy the fact that a student learning is also a teacher teaching.
I love seeing the students eyes show the glow of their "a-ha!" moments.
I have more than one teaching philosophy that I use.
I have had experience teaching as a Michigan state certified public school music educator through my time as a BA student at SVSU.
