I am a guitar player, audio engineer, and music teacher who opened my own recording and lesson studio February of 2015. I have degrees in business and computer information systems but music is my passion. I have been recording music and giving lessons for four years now (one year professionally). I teach electric/acoustic/bass guitar technique, music theory, and song writing for all ages and skill levels. I also give lessons on audio production, instrument recording, home studio setup, getting your band ready for the studio, etc.
My lessons depend on each students personality, experience, and goals. For some this means carefully tracking their progress and some written work and testing away from the instrument. For others a more laid back approach is more appropriate. Content could range from learning songs, reading tablature, learning chords, scales, courses on modes, fretboard visualization, visualizing arpeggios within scales, technique, posture, tension control, etc.
