Ryan joined Chris Foley Golf School team in 2019. A graduate of San Diego Golf Academy and has experience caddying on the Web.Com tour which allowed him the opportunity to study some of the top players in the world and how they manage their way around the golf course. Ryan is currently a Class A member of the PGA of America, and he is also certified as PGA coach.
As one of the young upcoming instructors in the state of Minnesota, Ryan believes the focus should be having fun with golf but also creating goals and trying to reach those goals. His prior experience includes:

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I am a big believer that you need to practice and work on your golf game when you are motivated to help reach your goals. By setting goals and enjoying the process of reaching those goals it will make reaching those goals eaiser which will allow you to enjoy the game much more.

How did you get started teaching?
I have been in golf my entire life and teaching is the best way to enjoy the game.

I have worked with all ages from 5 and up and also have worked with beginners to mini tour professionals.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a golf instructor my advice would be to do an interview on that instructor. Make sure that instructor is what you are looking for and best sutited for your game.
