About
I meet you where you are, not where you think you should be. All of our sessions are 100% customized and personal. Having a daily plan is nice, but it often doesn't take into account factors such as work, nutrition, stress, sleep, family dynamic, etc. that arrive with you to your session.
Your workout should be an experience that enhances your day and gives energy to your life. Movement is key. Nutrition is supportive. Performance is a mindset cultivated from experience. Longevity (quality of life) is the product of living an aligned existence.
I get to make dreams come true. Helping someone find themselves through fitness, and sometimes athletics is a powerful thing. My clients fill my cup. I can say that fitness, living a lifestyle that prioritizes wellness, is a staple of each of my days.

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching/coaching/training in college, working with High School wrestlers (sport-specific coaching and mentoring). After graduation, I made personal training my profession. Problem-solving, solution creation, and working one-on-one with my clients gives me the most pleasure.
After almost two decades in the industry, I have created a process that I believe will deliver you to your most fit, healthy, and balanced self, ever.
What types of students have you worked with?
Youth Athletes to Seniors. Beginners to competitive athletes. The full spectrum. The common link is a willingness to learn and a strong spirit to guide them on their health and wellness journey.
My expertise lies in two areas. Clients seeking lifestyle solutions, balancing career and family lives benefit greatly from fitness coaching. Time is valuable, by having me in your corner we make sure none of it is wasted. Secondly, I am passionate about and effective at coaching endurance sports. I love marathon and ultramarathon running. Distance running has changed my life in profound ways. Explore, discover, search, and reveal the wonders of the human mind and body.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I coached one of my athletes to a personal best in the 100-mile ultramarathon. He took 6-hours off his best time. Very proud coaching moment.
One of my lifestyle clients achieved her goal weight, losing 30 pounds in 3 months while getting stronger, healthier, and more confident along the way.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Schedule a consultation and ask a lot of questions. The direction of the conversation should be about YOU, not them. Don't fuss over certifications. If the trainer has the image and passion for his/her respected lifestyle that you respect and admire, then you could be a good match.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much can I sustainably invest in health and wellness? How much coaching and individual instruction do I need to be successful? How successful have I been without a coach/trainer in my corner?
