I enjoy the interaction with the students and watching them get excited about understanding a new concept along with the progress they are making. This is very rewarding for me to see.The best part is seeing them succeed at what they love to do!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I like to talk with the student for a bit and get to to know more about them, their interests and goals for themselves. Then I hear them sing soem excercises and possible two contrasting pieces, if they have the. Usually, I ask them to bring a coupel of songs that are already in their repertoire to perform for me, so that I get a better idea of where they are in their singing. This helps me assess how I can better help them.
