Hello my name is Daniel ive been a guitar teacher and educator for 10 years. I teach vast variety of styles rock, jazz, blues, classical guitar and more. Ive been playing for 26 years and have been in countless rock, blues and jazz groups as well as solo performances. I graduated from McNally Smith College of Music in 2013 with a BM in Guitar Performance.
Helping students acheive their musical dreams. My goal is to give my students the knowledge in playing music as well as making it fun and enjoyable. I focus on my students needs and their goals as a musician. I give positive encouragement all through the the lessons as well as helpful tips to improve their technique.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My approach to teaching in the first lesson is to get to know what their influences and or genres of music they are interested in learning. I talk to them about ways I approach my lessons depending on the knowledge they have with music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors in guitar performance from McNally Smith College of Music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing is $30 per half hour ($120) per month for 4 lessons. $50 per hour ($200) month for 4 lessons.
Single lessons are $45 per half hour and $65 per hour.
Due to COVID-19 I have dropped my half hour rates to $25 per half hour $100 per month.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was in college in 2010 and have taught students since then.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with very beginner students to intermediate. I teach from ages 5 to young youth snd adults.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for an instructor that fits your goals for learning the guitar. See what their background is in teaching.
