About
Im well versed in many styles and feel like having experience playing as a multi instrumentalist gives me more of a variety than the average teacher. I have been playing music for 22 years and have had the oportunity to play with several bands of different styles. I teach all levels of playing so wether you're a beginner or have been playing for several years and just feel like you're in a rut i can help you reach a level of playing that you may be struggling to reach.
Music is my life so getting the chance to play on a daily basis and teach future musicians is a great feeling. Empowering young ones and even adults to pick up an instrument and just start jamming out to there favorite tunes is the reason i get up everyday.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When starting out with a new student i find that establishing goals and interests is a must. For example making a list of there favorite bands or styles of music. Once this has been done i dive straight into chords and common scales that are used to get the student playing. After a few sessions i go into rhythm training and chord progressions that are commonly used in the students favorite tunes. As the student progresses i dive deeper into scale theory, chord theory, fret board theory. Really just music theory to give the student the best education to help them succeed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
