About
The Jewish Community Center focuses on core basketball fundamentals for kids of all skill levels. Areas of concentration will include but are not limited to, shooting mechanics, speed and control dribbling, on- and off-the-ball defense, footwork and offensive and defensive principles. Private workouts are customized to meet the specific needs of the player. Group workouts are great for discounted pricing and offer the opportunity to work on team offense and defense skill building that can’t be done in a one-on-one setting. These lessons offer the opportunity to take your game to the next level.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Coach Doug Boe - Retired Teacher and Coach, Burnsville, Minnesota
Doug was hired by Burnsville Schools in June 1976 and Retired in June of 2010 after 34 years of teaching and Coaching. He spent 9 years as an assistant Coach in Basketball before taking over the Head Girls job in 85-86. He Coached 11 years as Head Girls winning 200 games. His girls went to State 5 times, finishing 4th in ’86, Consolation Champs in ‘89 & ‘96, and State Champions in ‘91 & ’92.
Doug accepted the boys Head Basketball job in ’96-’97 season and won over 200 games as well. The Boys team went to State in 2004 for the first time in school history and finished as State Runner-up. Also went to State in 2007, Burnsville Boys Basketballs only State appearances. Doug was inducted into the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2015.
