Training sessions are 50 dollars for a hour in a half. Which consist of an initial consultation where we discuss and develop an individual training chart. An a normal day of training would be proper stretching techniques, warm up, and form movement. Then I train the athlete based off of their Individual training specific profile that we build before the actual training begins.
How did you get started teaching?
I started training when I became an assistant football coach. I was required to attend conferences and training courses in sports management, and CPR and first aid. The coaching clinics was always informative and learning how the body moves intrigued me. I have also worked In the public school system for 7 years where I would train athletes during the off-season of their sports.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with middle school, high school and college student athletes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I enjoy Cam Newton's football clinics, they are great for the young athletes in the community. As well as the Gilbert Brown football camp. I also enjoy walking into various practices from Football, basketball, and baseball watching how different coaches run their drills, trainings and their overall practices.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Work with teachers that are knowledgeable about the sport that you want to play and the Intricate movements necessary for the sport your training for. A teacher who promotes technique as well as strengthening and athletic ability. A teacher who will document your gains an bench marks. A teacher that understands how to develop a top notched athlete.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If they are truly ready for the sacrifice necessary to become a difference maker in their respective sport. How bad they want to be a good if not great athlete and understand the resiliency necessary to bounce back when their body is tired and soar and don't feel like working out on schedule.
