I love working with my students one on one or in a group setting. I structure my teaching methods based on how my students pick-up and receive the information/steps that I'm teaching. I am extremely patient and encourage my students to ask questions!
I love teaching people to dance. I believe that dancing can't be learned from a book but should be passed from one person to another! It fills me with pride when I see that my students are confident dancing to the music, moving around the dance floor, dancing at their wedding or competing at a competition!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out if they have any previous dance experience and what their dance goals are.

I began competing professionally in June 2007. I have competed in more than 200+ competitions and 254 professional events. I have received top placements in the American Rhythm, American Smooth, and Showdance Divisions.

I'm the organizer of the American Star Ball Championships in Atlantic City, NJ and Maryland DanceSport in Baltimore, MD.
I am a Championship certified adjudicator with the North American Dance Teacher’s Association (NADTA) in International Latin, International Ballroom, American Rhythm, American Smooth and Theatrical Arts. I have been recognized as a National adjudicator with the National Dance Council of America (NDCA) and I'm member of the World Dance Council (WDC).
In addition to my many years of ballroom and latin dance training, I have a diverse dance background in ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance.

Available for private and group lessons. All lessons are 45 minutes.
New students will receive a 45 minute private lesson at a discounted rate.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been teaching dance since I was a teenager. I have experience teaching ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom and latin.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners, wedding couples, social and competitive students and couples.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask questions and express to the teacher what your goals are.
