    Frequently asked questions

We provide a safe environment to learn both English and Western Equitation.

Hello! My name is Lorie and I've been riding and training horses for 30 years. I practice natural horsemanship and have worked with everything from skittish OTTB's to hard-headed and wild mustangs. I currently do mobile training and horseback riding lessons in North Carolina. I am happy to travel up to 1 hour! I have an extensive resume and have worked and shown many disciplines. I am proven in and out of the show ring.

I started teaching and training 17 years ago. I wanted to help others with equine safety as well as healthy horsemanship.

I work with all level students. Ages 3 to 103.

I did perform on horses and raced ostriches in the Dixie Stampede.

I would advise the student or the student's parents to talk to the instructor as well as other riders' parents before committing to a lesson plan. Ask questions! A good instructor will be happy to answer any and all questions.

How long have you been instructing riders?

What level of rider do you instruct?

Do you allow “trailering in” for lessons?

Do you travel to other barns or facilities for lessons?

Can I see your facility and other horses?
