I like to get to know my students and understand their needs. I help them make goals and achieve them. I like to be friendly, and easy to speak, or aproach. I am a Freshmen in Highschool but i do have expirience tutoring. Ive tutored famil members, and Friends. My Brother who's currently in college for science engineering has helped me alot with understnading the basics of Math and more. I am a straight A's and B's Student and work very hard in my classes. I am also homeschooled so i am available All week except Tuesday and weekends. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First i talk to the parents answer any questions they may have, and let them know about al the details such as payment meathods, and my schedule. I then proceed to ask questions about the student for exapmple , grade, age, and name. I like to know what the student needs help with specifically. I then set up a plan of which lessons im going to teach and on which days i will teach them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since im only a Freshmen ive helped students my age and younger with school, ive also helped family member younger than me with school related assignments.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each class Will last at least one hour therefore each class should be around 25 dollars. I will only accept online payments through CashApp, PayPall, Google pay, or Zelle. On very little ocassions i will accept Checks. Payments will happen once the class has finished.
How did you get started teaching?
I found intirest in helping others with school especially with math since its always been my favorite subject.
What types of students have you worked with?
I, ve mostly worked with elementary kids from 1st all the way to 6th grade.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love to travel. One of my favorite trips was to the Miami Dade fair. I was able to spend time with friends and Family there.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Dont be afraid to ask questions. Its very important when you are looking to hire for yourself, or for your child that you ask questions and make sure the twacher you are hiring is capable fo helping.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I would say that no every teacher could be the right teacher for you. Every student is unique and therefore they cant all learn the same way.
