Ms. Karen's Piano Studio

Karen Rainey, pianist/organist/teacher, received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Arts degree in Church Music from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. She was an organist and music teacher for over 30 years in the Scranton area and an adjunct faculty member of the Marywood University Department of Music for six years. For the past ten years she has served and continues to serve as Director of Music and organist at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.

My objectives are to teach music through the study of piano, to develop poise and confidence through performance, and to inspire a love and understanding of all kinds of music including classical, folk, ethnic, and popular.
