Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I conduct a quick message thread or call to assess a client's goals and then schedule an introductory workout session where we establish a baseline of skills. I then creat a developmental plan for growth with new goals to reach.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played at Wake Forest University for 3 seasons, then Iona College for one season. I Played in the Divison 1 NCAA Tourney and then 5 years as a professional overseas.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Negotiable based on factors such as frequency, time, and location with a focus on being affordable for everyday working families like how I grew up.
How did you get started teaching?
I received some offers to join the coaching staff at various colleges and high schools but decided this would allow me to impact more people's lives.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with 8-year-olds with no prior experience to college athletes who are on scholarship at their respective universities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a trainer who understands your goals and is invested in doing it for the right reasons. I've always wanted to keep my training affordable for the average person because I actually enjoy seeing people get better and falling in love with the game of basketball.
