Guitar player for about 12 years, currently living in Japan. Assisted teaching university level Japanese classes, and currently teaching ESL.
As a teacher, the greatest thing is seeing the students grow before your very eyes. In Japan, I am the first, and often times last, English teacher my students have. This means that the majority of their English language encounters come from me. Being able to see them grow from not even being able to introduce themselves to being able to read short stories is the reason why I became a teacher.

Bachelors in Japanese and Masters in Applied Linguistics (est. January 2023) in addition to 5 years of experience teaching ESL at the elementary level in Japan and 1 year teaching Japanese at the university level in the US.
