We believe that personal training is more than just counting reps; it’s about making decisions to change your entire life and not just for 8 weeks but for a lifetime of changes. Our goal is to help all people realize that they can enjoy life while being healthy and active. We have male and female trainers, licensed nutritionists, nurses and clinical certified exercise physiologists on staff. If you are serious about reaching your fitness goals we will be the ones to help get you there.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We offer a free consultation for new clients that includes a deep dive into the client's medical history, fitness history, and diet. After a basic exercise testing session, we then discuss their specific goals and what we can do to help them achieve those goals. Clients are provided with a comprehensive fitness and nutrition program that is personalized for each individual's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Combined, the team at Your Fitness Solutions has two Masters Degrees in Exercise Science, Human Movement Science, a Masters in Nutrition, and a B.S. in Nursing.

Pricing depends on the number of sessions purchased. In person packages start at $75/hour

How did you get started teaching?
Founder Michael Palevo began exercising seriously as a teenager and quickly found his passion in fitness training. Sharing that love and excitement for health with others is where Your Fitness Solutions was born. After completing his B.S. in Exercise Science he went on to get 2 M.S. in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics. After compelting his schooling he went onto work with a number of professional sporting teams and players as well as cardiopulmonary rehab at Vanderbilt Medical Center before starting Your Fitness Solutions, LLC
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with every customer imaginable, from those looking to gain muscle, to those wanting to shed a few extra pounds. Our client list has ranged from clients dealing with heart and lung transplant, weight loss, muscle building, endurance athletes and professional athletes.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of our clients at Your Fitness Solutions has recently lost over 80 pounds. He has been able to not only enjoy a fuller life, but most importantly enjoy his family and loved ones more. He no longer has to worry about being in public and feeling embarrassed about his weight. Seeing this client reach his goals is the greatest reward for the team at YFS!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's all about motivation. Look for someone that can motivate you and teach you about accountability and learning the process of living a healthy life. Ultimately, you want to work with a trainer who can build you up and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle independent of their services.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The best questions to ask a professional when gathering information is simply whether or not this trainer can help you reach your specific goals. Have they worked with clients like you before? Do they enjoy working with clients that have similar goals as yours? You want to make sure that this coach is going to be on the same page as you down the road! :)
