Hello potential student: We love students to come with a willing attitude. Our track record is excellent in fusing your unique abilities with our experience and expertise. Our goal is to inspire you to play and sing with joy for a lifetime. We offer a free consultation. Many of our students have won awards, such as the city-wide KVNO Classical Kid contest, high school and college contests, and have become well rounded musicians with the ability to write their own music and improvise. I enjoy the diversity of abilities inherent within each student and bringing out their talents. Watching a person grow in confidence, knowledge of their instrument, and finding his/her own strengths as a musician brings me great joy. Through weekly goal setting on agreed repertoire, theory, and technic, the student learns rhythm, melody, and harmony while polishing songs. I have studied privately with the finest teachers: Mrs. Stocker (classical piano), Dale Scott (popular piano), Diana Morrison (classical voice), Dr. Kerry McDevitt (Carnegie Hall Studios-opera), and Roman Polanski (opera) with Music Education from The Juilliard, New York University, and University of Nebraska. I have taught children-seniors in NYC, Australia, and in Omaha, NE. for over 40 years. I have been an active member of MNTA, NMTA, OMTA, NATS, and have voluntarily traveled across country to contribute musically to American Indian music Education in Arizona.
