I have been a PGA professional since 1989. I have given over 5000 hours both individual and clinic golf lessons. I have a given golf lessons to beginners as well as players who have gone on to play professional golf. As a player I have one numerous local professional events. My lessons are tailored to the physical capabilities of the player, while stressing game improvement as well as course management. I believe improving the short game is the quickest way to lowering ones handicap.
It’s very rewarding to see somebody improve so that they can go out and play of the game they love!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
You always start off by going over in stressing fundamentals. Just as a good football team excels at blocking and tackling a good golfer will excel at the fundamentals such as grip, stance, aim, set up, ball position etc.

With over 30 years experience of teaching golf I believe the most simple way to teach somebody is to actually keep the swing training as simple as possible. If everyone would read Harvey Penick’s “Little Red Book” that is the model from which I teach from.
