Hello, My name is Dan McGarry. My passion for music gives me a drive and a sense of fulfillment so powerful that I can't help but want to share it, and I do so through the instrument by which I have understood music best; the piano. I began teaching shortly before completing my Bachelor's degree in Piano performance at Rowan university in 2012, and have continued to do so following the completion of my Master's degree in that same subject, also at Rowan University, under the tutelage of the distinguished performer and educator professor Veda Zuponcic.
I have placed in a few collegiate state piano competitions, and received an "Honorable Mention" in the MTNA national competition's first round. I continue to keep my schedule saturated with practice and teaching, and look forward to build on my own abilities as well as the talents of others throughout my lifelong career in this wonderful vocation.
