About

I’ve taught at some of the most fun companies in the world like Google/YouTube and Yahoo, but having spent the past year teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to students in China, I have to say, the best job I’ve ever had is teaching. And that’s why I’m here--to meet you!

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Rutgers University, as well as a Masters in Theater from California State University, Los Angeles and a mini MBA from Rutgers University. I also have a number of certifications in different areas related to writing and designing curriculum and games.

English, film, journalism and public speaking are all subjects I’ve taught in public schools. A member of the Screen Actor’s Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio, I’ve been a theater professor and teacher, teaching acting and drama to age 3 through adults in Los Angeles. I even co-starred on one of the twentieth century’s best loved, character driven sitcoms.

Since 2013, I’ve used my talents in acting, public speaking and writing to create a globally recognized social media personality with a large social media following, including award nominated YouTube channels and record setting livestreaming, for which I have garnered accolades. I spent much of 2017 making public speaking appearances and delivering presentations on the topic of livestreaming after being awarded the title of the number one female livestreaming expert. I’ve also written and published my brand’s story which became a best-seller, followed by a groundbreaking book documenting highly artistic, at risk youth. I'm now producing a docuseries with a multi-award winning production company.

My lessons have been one-on-one; with as many people who could fit in the classroom; or virtually, throughout the entire world. I believe education should be tailored to fit the style of the learner. For example, I had a student who had a difficult time reading Shakespeare--until I gave him a copy of the comic book version (he was into drawing). And guess what? He was able to participate in discussions and do well on tests because he was able to do his work!

    Frequently asked questions

I have a complimentary consultation with the student (and parent, if applicable) to learn his/her needs and goals. We get to know one another and if things go well, we'll set up a time to work together.  All lessons are virtual via Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts, etc.
