Marc Malsegna Guitar Lessons
About
Im a professional guitarist based out of NYC. I started teaching guitar lessons when I was about 16 years old. At the same time I was gigging almost every weekend with a rock band I was in. In 2013 I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and I graduated with a degree in Guitar Performance in December of 2016. I was fortunate to have the chance to study with some of legendary teachers including George Garzone, Mick Goodrick, Tim Miller, Hal Crook among others. I studied and played a lot of jazz whike I was at Berklee, but at the same time I played in many pop and Rock bands gigging around the city. I dont just play jazz, and I dont just play rock, I really like to play anything and learn anything that catches my attention. Its all fun. I would definitely say imporvisation is one of my strong suites and I have a great system to teach it my students. I have been teaching skype lessons for the last few years, and I have been finding them to be just as effective as an in person lesson.
Whether your looking to learn more about guitar, technique, music theory, chords, jazz vocabulary, rock technique, mastering your favorite pop song, im here to help. I would love to hear from you and get you started on accomplishing some of your musical goals.
