What can I say we are the best hidden secret in the Bronx my partner and I been at this for a total of 80 years a lot of people ask what style what system there is no style there is no system there's only the individual our core Focus in survival and creating well-rounded martial artist capable of dealing with any situation in competition or the streets but I main focus is urban survival and to create a better person through martial arts

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The typical process for a new student is basics different people could progressed at different levels so you have to do an evaluation over a couple of classes to see where the student is then you have construct a class for just that student
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a 5th degree black belt I've been teaching for the last 40 years I've been in the military I've studied boxing I've studied various styles of karate overseas I can't explain this but I know what works and what won't work and a lot of the things that teaching today mixed martial arts whatever is not workable on the street in today's time
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Don't have a standard pricing system usually the person comes in they take one or two classes they decide if they want to take more exit down with them and decide what they can afford and we take it from there
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching to survive the gangs way back in in 1976 after that I went into the military came back out one couple of martial arts tournaments and realize you can help more people this way you can spread your legacy this way so my passion for teaching came out of my desire the keep my legacy alive long after I'm finished teaching
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with many students over the years summer became Olympic champions I currently work with my fifteen-year-old Ray who's the first degree black belt and the National Junior champion but there are many other students that are behind them and hopefully I'll get them anymore
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The most events that I'm proud of is when Channel 2 News did an interview of the karate school they had to come and do an interview of the students because I wouldn't go to the studio because I don't make myself great my students make me great so that's always a high point in my life the television interview
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that you go to several different schools before you come to me before you come to us if you looking to do mixed martial arts or fighting in the ring we teach that but that's not our objective our objective is urban survival
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
A student doesn't have to think about any question if he comes with questions as an instructor you should be able to answer them any and all questions clearly and truthfully so that student has no doubt in their mind when they leave you about what it is that they ask you
