Baden Goyo

Hi, my name is Baden Goyo. I'm a passionate musician, with a lot of experience teaching piano, jazz harmony and music theory in general. I used to work as private lesson teacher in Venezuela as well in some music institutions there. I love to help students to improve their musical abilities and have new methods and perspectives to understand music. I love working 1 on 1 or with groups and see the results of the learning process.

Also, I'm Psychologist and I've studied a lot about the learning process and the psychology implied, so I have a wide range of methods and techniques when I'm teaching/tutoring to students. I love to help students to improve their abilities and raise up their musical potential to the best.

I worked for 4 years as the principal pianist on the Simon bolivar Big Band Jazz. I used to teach music theory there. I have 5 years of study of jazz harmony and piano Jazz with the great master Gerry Weil. I know and apply a lot of effectives techniques in the ear training process as well as in the piano/harmony learning process. Specially in jazz harmony and Latin music. Also I teach the art of improvisation in several music styles.

I can teach you how to play and improvise on several styles of music (on piano) like: Latin music, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Samba, Jazz music and much more! I'm willing to work with passionate people and to find your own way to improve your abilities to the best you can do! Also I can work with your schedule and be flexible about the lesson schedules!
