Juan Pablo Horcasitas
About
I teach piano lessons in a very special way, always focusing on helping the student how to practice and how to achieve goals day by day and week by week. Fingering, memorization, technique and performance are some of the elements discussed in every piece. I also talk about the composer's style and sound so the student can have a complete picture of how the piece should be performed.
I enjoy helping students to make music in a better way. Everyone brings different qualities to a certain piece and I like to explore various ways of playing that piece.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start by asking what are the student's goals and what is his/her previous experience. I try to give a weekly plan for practicing and set up a possible date for a recital (if the student wants to perform)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters and Bachelors degree in Classical Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music. I have studied with some of the most important piano pedagogues in the world. I myself have more than 10+ years of teaching piano and music.
