Bikram Yoga is a beginner’s yoga which is practiced by people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and health conditions. It is a challenging 90-minute beginning hatha yoga class designed to systematically work the entire body, creating optimum health and maximum function. The 26-posture sequence is performed in a room heated to 105 degrees to accelerate the rate of change within the body and allow the body to safely stretch and detoxify and cleanse. No special equipment, props or clothing are required.
The Bikram Series was designed for the lifestyle of today and specifically for our cultural problems of job stress, overeating, bad posture, and aggressive lifestyles. Bikram scientifically formulated and demonstrated yoga’s ability to regenerate tissues and cure chronic ailments. With an exact technique and a series of fixed poses, the class will bring health and peace to anyone.
Bikram Yoga can be practiced under the guidance of a certified Bikram Yoga Teacher at one of the affiliated Bikram Yoga studios.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We recommend new studetns practice 3-5 times a week for 30 days to receive maximum healing benefits to the practice. New students can discuss any injuries or issues with teachers prior to class.
