About
I am highly experienced in working with people who try yoga for the first time, as well as with those who want to deepen their practice and flexibility. I am focusing on safety in each pose through careful alignment, and breathwork throughout the class.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. I ask about their experience with yoga, any injuries or if there is anything about their health/body I should know about
2. I inquire if there are any areas a client wants to pay more attention in general, or today
3. Depending on the above, we agree on the approach that best works for the client
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
RYT200 from Yoga to the People, multiple online trainings and a personal practice of over 8 years
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
depending on the client's ability to pay: generally I use a sliding scale of $40-$100 per class $40 for seniors, people in a challenging financial situation who need their yoga. Average price per hour is $50 for most
How did you get started teaching?
I took my first yoga class at 15 years old, and have been practicing on and off until I was 24, then I couldn't stop coming to yoga to the people studios. At 29, I left Wall Street and started my Master's degree in Sustainability Management and got certified to teach yoga. I have been teaching in many studios internationally ever since, and looking forward to serve New York City in this role again and again.
What types of students have you worked with?
Beginners to Intermediate
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Listen to intuition
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Depending on the reason for taking a yoga class, they may ask what type of yoga I am teaching, if I have a particular sequence for their needs (flexibility/back pain release/neck pain telease/knees/lower back tension release/digestion/balance/relaxation/etc)
