Matt Wong Guitar Lessons

My teaching approach:

All students will learn and achieve mastery of: reading standard musical notation, playing with proper technique, basic music theory and ear training, excellent musicianship and ensemble playing skills. Frequently used texts include Modern Guitar Method (Mel Bay) and A Modern Method for Guitar (William Leavitt). Students will learn through playing etudes and songs of THEIR CHOICE. In person students will have the opportunity to showcase their work at local open mic nights several times during the year. Online students are encouraged to seek performance opportunities in their own community.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Weekdays: 6 pm - 9 pm Saturday: 9 am - 5 pm Sunday - 9 am - 1 pm

Patient, motivated, enthusiastic. Must be able to put in at least 4-5 days of practicing each week.
