Dynamic Dancing Lessons
About
I have been studying dance for 8 years and have also been an assistant dance teacher for two years. To me, dance is a way of expressing yourself and how you feel without speaking. I am willing to train as well as get to know students of any age (online or in person) that are interested in learning the history, fundamentals and movements of dance. It doesn't matter if you have studied dance for 10 years or just began taking dance lessons; everyday after class you will walk out learning something new and feeling accomplished.

I enjoy seeing students improve in their technique as well as helping them find their passion for dance and show what it means to them through the movement.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before even beginning to work with a new student, I want to get to know them as a person and what they want to take out of this class. Once we start dancing i will make sure to give helpful corrections as well as take brief moments to explain some dance history. You run a judge free class zone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been training in dance history as well as modern, jazz, tap, ballet and african from 2016-2020 at Passaic County Technical Institute. Aside from this, I helped as an assistant dance teacher at Effusion Dance Collective from 2018-2020.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
In high school, I focused on choreography and had to choreograph multiple combinations as well as my own dance with dancers I selected. It felt good to teach students about the dances they were doing and the correct way to do them.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high school students as well as young kids k-4.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have recently held an online live class where I had to go through a warmup as well as teach my own choreography to the viewers who were taking my class.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
As long as you show respect and try your hardest, well will give you back respect and try our hardest to make you the best you can be.
