Alexandra Hagel Violin And Viola Lessons

Alexandra has a Bachelor's of Violin Performance from Montclair State University and a Master's of Viola Performance from Indiana University - Jacob's School of Music. During her studies at IU, she took pedagogy classes specializing in the Suzuki method with renowned instructors Mimi Zweig and Brenda Brenner. There she taught students from the university's String Academy in which she shadowed instructors and taught individual lessons. Alexandra had been teaching since 2016 and has only furthered her expertise since then.
Though Alexandra's primary instrument is viola, she has experience playing in a variety of settings such as orchestra, chamber music, and solo on both violin and viola. She has taught students of all ages beginning at 6. She lays down an excellent foundation for her beginner students and is extremely detail oriented.
