About
Gail Bell is a Certified Advanced MELT instructor, trained breathing specialist, professional vocal coach, and actress.
Gail discovered the M.E.L.T. Method in 2008 and was astonished by its ability to alleviate aches and pains, reduce stress, improve sleep, and enhance athletic performance. She devoted the next three years to an intense study of anatomy, breathing and movement, both with Sue Hitzmann, MELT’s creator and Leslie Kaminoff of The Breathing Project. Gail has also studied Carl Stough’s Principles of Breathing Cordination, Feldenkrais, Fitzmaurice, and the Alexander Technique.
Gail is an adjunct professor in the Graduate Acting Program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. An actor by trade and a member of Equity, S.A.G and A.F.T.R.A, Gail is dedicated to helping others unlock their full potential. She has incorporated her stage experience and MELT into her vocal coaching with actors. They have found an immediate response in finding their natural, supported voice.
Gail is currently teaching both MELT and Voice & Speech privately in New York City.
I love helping people connect to their breath and release tension in their bodies and their voices.
