I needed to work on specific aspects since I already lost my first amateur match. Head movement and slipping punches and using my body more in a natural way. I was way to tight and offensively set. Not good. I learned the hard way boxing is both defense and offense. Gunther helped me work on certain defensive tactics while he used the focus mitts to mimic spar sessions. It was a great workout and helped me focus on my weakness as a boxer.

I liked our classes. I learned a lot. He is a great instructor and got me going. He does not let up or take it easy if you want to drop those pounds. He pushed me to the max. Just what I was looking for to tone up my lanky spaghetti arms ;)

I started last month. We did 4 sessions so far as of today 04/25. Living in NY with all the anti-Asian hate crimes I need to do something fast to protect myself from all these nutjobs loose in the streets. I mean the whole democrat progressive push to let the criminals free with bail reform and defunding police is absolute insanity. I feel more confident learning boxing. If you live in a city like NY or that other cesspool, Portland with there city of scum, Chaz or whatever it is called....you better fend for yourself. Thank you Gunther for teaching me not to hold back and take my safety personally.

LOVED IT! Cant wait to start again. I had to stop our sessions because of an injury to my left shoulder. Healing up and will be back baby! LOL, boxing is soooo addictive!! Stop reading and GO DO IT.

Great sessions. I started in Astoria park outside and did a few sessions. I like the defensive stuff. I think that applies especially now with how NY has increased crime due to these crazy progressive politics and anti-police nonsense! Its dangerous and knowing how to fight is mandatory now. Not just for toning up or losing weight. His sessions got you covered.

The best! I took a couple of lessons at group places like CKO Kickboxing and Title Boxing. Not only was it expensive with contracts and enrollment fees, but I did not really learn how bad my form and technique was in those classes. Too many people! How can you seriously learn like that. It was a meat market of arms, lets and sweaty bodies. I like 1 on 1 now. I would have it no other way from now on plus I get all the attention and I am satisfied because I am learning how to DO IT RIGHT.

Yes I have progressive rates.  Basically, the more sessions you book a week, the cheaper each session will be.  I have clients who train one, two and even three times a week.  I will work with you to accomodate your schedule.

I actually started teaching in another field which I did for many years, 1 on 1 and also in one hour blocks.  Hence, I am very comfortable with the method and time frame.  I am also a certified personal trainer so again, working one on one with diverse clients is something I am experienced in from numerous subjects.

Male and female, ages 15 to 72.  I have some who train to compete in the future, others for weight loss and others for self defense.  Boxing is an excellent skill which addresses all three.

Two of my clients started engaging in active controlled spar sessions with appropriate gear using all of the skills we have worked out in our sessions.

If possible, ask to view in person a session to see exactly how things are done in terms of how the coach breaks up the sessions with diverse drills and skill development.  Plus you can ask questions afterwards and get a feel for the trainer.
