I love my job. No two students are alike! The Irene Diamond Piano Studio is a performance-oriented studio, designed to provide a comprehensive musical education in piano. The Studio, following Shinichi Suzuki’s philosophy that “any child can learn to play the piano,” accepts students age four and up. There are no entrance requirements or auditions for children. Admission to the Studio is dependent on the parents’ full understanding of their responsibilities and commitments in this form of musical education. Throughout the student’s intermediate level of study, traditional concepts and materials introduced include technique and selections from the vast piano repertoire, until ultimately the advanced students enjoy classical training from the standard literature for the piano. Piano & Voice students learn Pop & Broadway music.
