Piano Land Studies

I attended Mannes College of Music and I have been teaching for 15 years. I have a published book, Piano Land, for young children, to help them prepare for their first piano lesson. My specialty is the beginner student and those who have trouble learning in a traditional setting.

We focus on learning to read music, acquiring excellent keyboard skills, understanding music theory and composing their own music, if that is of interest. I encourage self-confidence in my students by highlighting their best abilities, while building up what needs improvement.

I create an easy-going, fun environment in which to learn.
